Please note: Due to Storehouse undergoing a restructure, we aren't currently accepting any referrals
How Does Storehouse Work?
We work on a system of donations and buy other items. Referrers (local housing agencies, linked projects etc) fill out an online form which sends the details through to us.. As well as food, we have people who need hygiene, baby, clothing or home-wear packs. Since we cannot predict what items we have from week to week, we provide to the best of our ability.
If you are a community agency and would like to be able to refer people to us, please phone us on 0191 261 1011 to discuss. We aim to assist those people who may be in a position where benefits have been temporarily stopped or are waiting to start. Clients may be moving from homeless to homed and may need gentle support with items in order to direct their finances to the set up of their new home. Ladies may be in a position of expecting a new baby and may need assistance in the preparing for the new arrival. You know people's needs and we want to work with you to support them. Chat to Helen if you have any questions.
We run on a system of donations and voluntary work. If you feel you'd like to support Storehouse, you can in many ways by donating money, items of food, baby, home wear and hygiene items - also take a look at the how to support page for other ways to support.
Alternatively phone us on 0191 475 0955 and we'd be happy to chat with you!
We are constantly in need of donations to continue running. If you wish to donate, you can do so here: https://mydonate.bt.com/charities/storehouse and you can call 0191 261 1011 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
